The Takshashila Institution convened a Roundtable on 10 August 2018 to discuss issues arising from the documents released by the Justice Srikrishna Committee on 27 July 2018. These documents included the report titled A Free and Fair Digital Economy: Protecting Privacy, Empowering Indians, and the draft Personal Data Protection Bill, 2018.

This Blue Paper was prepared further to the discussions that took place at the Roundtable. It collates and presents the comments, remarks, and analysis from the participants to the Roundtable.

The Roundtable was chaired by Rahul Matthan, Manasa Venkataraman, and Ajay Patri.

Her work focuses on data privacy, digital governance from a public policy lens and the role that regulation plays in encouraging innovation and digital access. She worked as a researcher at Takshashila from 2016 to 2019 in the Technology and Policy vertical.
